The founders Andy, Don and Danny Eggebrecht realized the potential that the panga style hull offered and wanted to bring this historic design to the next level. The Eggebrecht family yearned to build a stronger, safer, more appointed boat, and succeeded masterfully. Hybrid style boats and light tackle offshore center consoles are becoming more popular than ever before, and in most cases the designs are being copied or carried over from old molds and processes with no real engineering or design. Now, active boaters, and adventure hungry fisherman around the world enjoy the safety, durability, versatility and performance of an Andros boat. You deal directly with the owners of Andros and the crew building your boat. We know our customers by first name and our boat builders get to know you as well. We typically build between 40-50 boats per year so we have the time for one-on-one attention. Visiting the factory and working directly with the crew is encouraged during construction. Also by remaining factory direct we can offer a superior product at an affordable price. We build 100% of your boat on premises and have the ability to customize most anything to fit your needs. Andy is a graduate of the Ringling College of Art and Design with a BFA in Graphic and Interactive Communication. His knowledge and experience in design is found in every boat we build. Andy has been the driving force behind Andros since it’s inception in 2004. Andy works with our customers in the early stages of the ordering and design process. Andy will show you how our boats perform on a sea trial and work with you on the design and pricing of your new Andros. Andy also spearheads new product development and boat designs working closely with the other owners and our naval architecture firms. In addition Andy works hand in hand with the partners on the entire business operation. Andy Keeps an office at the factory but is mainly at our Marina location where we keep our demo boats, conduct sea trials and new product development . He is mostly out of the office, on the water and with customers during the beginning of our process. He and his wife Karlie are avid tournament fishermen and spend most of their free time fishing, diving and hunting. Danny Eggebrecht, Business Administration Danny is a graduate of Florida State University with a BS in Computer Science. Danny’s primary function is running the business side of the Andros. Danny is heavily involved in strategic planning, accounting and operations. Danny works closely with his father Don on production and vendor support. Danny’s technology background is utilized to program all of our engines, electronics and most fly by wire control systems. Danny runs a tight ship on the business side to make sure Andros is a healthy company with managed growth. Danny is also a good contact for technical questions on electronics and software updates on computer driven items installed on your boat. Danny will get involved with you as a customer during the payment stages and will also work with you to register, title and assist in deliveries.
