Anderson & Cunningham is a civil litigation boutique. In short, that means that the firm's lawyers represent people and companies in lawsuits, typically over business disputes. Generally speaking, the firm only handles business and personal injury cases, but within that general description, it handles cases throughout the nation at both the trial and appellate levels. The firm's founding member, David Anderson, is board certified in civil trial and civil appellate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Since its inception in 1990, it has handled a variety of large commercial cases in Texas and throughout the United States at both the trial and appellate levels. The firm limits its practice to commercial litigation with a focus on intellectual property disputes. Each year, A&C handles a relatively select and small number of cases. Often times, these cases are handled on a standard hourly basis; however, some are handled on a contingent fee or non-standard fee basis, depending on the needs and desires of the client.
