Anchor Stow Inc., consists of Captain Kathe Fannon, a native Floridian and commerical Captain residing in Cortez, FL with over 30 years of experience. And myself, Rich Paquelet, the inventor of Anchor Stow and an avid boater and fisherman. Captain Kathe operates a Dolphin sightseeing tour business out of histroical Cortez, FL, one of the last remaining operating fishing villages in Florida! I am an avid boater and fisherman having been on the water in Ohio where I grew up, and in Bradenton, FL for the last 15 years. I own a 2007 Bennington pontoon boat. When I fish I do allot of anchoring. I invented the Anchor Stow in 2007 driven from the need to find a way to stow my bow and stern anchors on my new Bennington pontoon boat I had just purchased. I designed several prototypes ending up with the current design. And then filed for my US Patent, and received the Patent in early 2015, US Patent number 8,943,989 B2! In fact, my first two holders are still on my Bennington in perfect shape after over eight (8) years! Shortly after I installed my Anchor Stow’s on my new Bennigton, in late 2008 I reached out to Captain Kathe asking her to be a partner in my new business knowing I could rely heavily on her relationships in the boating industry to help market our product. Captain Kathe does allot of anchoring in her daily charters and we installed two (2) Anchor Stows on her boat as well at that time that are also doing just fine. About the Product The Anchor Stow anchor stowage device is a anchor mounting device designed to securely hold a Danforth style anchor. We also have models exclusivily designed for Sea Claw cast aluminum or bronze anchors! Although the device was primarly designed for boats with a ‘fence’ (a boat with an aluminum frame sides), such as a pontoon boat or some styles of deck boats, the Anchor Stow can be used in a variety of all types of boats. The device is intended to be mounted in a vertical or near vertical position, and can be mounted as much as 45 degrees from veritcal with no detrimental performance. Testing in rough water with various degrees of wave (and wake) action we have found no instance where the anchor dislodged from the Anchor Stow. The device is totally UV resistant, and will stand up to years of outdoor exposure and salt water environments with no adverse effect to the product or performance. That is why we can offer a (5) year limited warranty. Products ordered on week days are shipped within 24-48 hours of your order. Products ordered on Saturday and Sunday are not shipped until 24-48 hours after the start of the next business day. The average transit time from the time the product is shipped is 1-3 days to all points East of the Mississippi River, and generally 3-6 days West of the Mississippi River.
