An Infinite Mind, Inc., founded by Jaime M. Pollack in January 2008, is passionate about helping survivors of sexual abuse and individuals living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). This non-profit originated from Jaime's own experiences both as a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and her ongoing journey with DID. Jaime’s personal story fueled her desire to create a community where accurate information and genuine support are readily available. Realizing the limited resources available for people like herself, she started one of the rare peer-led support groups in the U.S. that focuses on DID. With roots deeply embedded in advocacy for those dealing with sexual trauma, Jaime has been instrumental in raising awareness through unique initiatives, including organizing skydiving events specifically designed to bring attention and understanding to these crucial issues. Her experiences as an alumna of organizations assisting survivors reinforced her dedication to improving the support system for others. An Infinite Mind extends its reach beyond just peer support; it runs training programs aimed at empowering therapists to provide better care to trauma survivors. Jaime's ongoing commitment also includes advisory roles in broader networks like Women Speak Out and Pandora’s Project, making waves across multiple platforms dedicated to healing and support.
