An Infinite Mind, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and resources for survivors of sexual abuse and individuals living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Founded by Jaime M. Pollack in January 2008, the organization was born from a pressing need for accurate information and community support surrounding dissociative disorders. Jaime’s personal journey as a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and her diagnosis of DID propelled her to establish one of the few peer-led support groups specialized in DID in the United States. Initially engaging with organizations addressing sexual trauma, Jaime has been actively involved in advocacy work, including organizing skydiving events for awareness and speaking engagements. As an alumna who experienced limited resources when seeking help for DID, she shifted her focus to assisting others like herself by creating supportive environments and providing therapeutic aid at low to no cost. An Infinite Mind also serves as a resource hub, offering training programs aimed at enhancing the quality of care provided to trauma survivors by therapists. Jaime continues to contribute to wider survivor networks through advisory roles in other organizations such as Women Speak Out and Pandora’s Project.
