The two Tampa, FL based companies merged operations and do business under the name Custom Cable. Prior to the acquisition, the two companies supported and served as manufacturer of record for each other for many years. Amphenol Custom Cable has experienced rapid growth and in July of 2016, Amphenol acquired the company under the Amphenol AGIS Group. Domestic operations combined with manufacturer direct supply chain partnerships offer the quick turnaround required to ensure network reliability. Production operations have been audited and certified to the highest quality standards in the industry including: Custom Cable utilizes statistical process control (SPC) to maintain tight controls over all critical aspects of the fiber assembly process.
