Ames Capital Management “ACM” was founded in 2002 and is a Registered Investment Advisor licensed by the Florida Office of Financial Regulation. ACM is a Florida corporation with its headquarters in Sarasota, FL. Donald R. Ames is the Founder of ACM. Mr. Ames serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of ACM. Mr. Ames is the sole shareholder and sole Investment Advisor Representative of ACM. Mr. Ames has several decades of experience in the financial markets. He has worked for years on both the Buy Side and Sell Side for several Wall Street firms while being based in both New York and London. During his career, Mr. Ames has witnessed several momentous events in the financial markets including the crash of 1987, the dot com bubble of the late 1990s, the tragedy of 9/11 and the record highs recently reached by the major equity indices during this recent bull market rally. Mission Statement Ames Capital Management “ACM” provides clients with proven arbitrage investment strategies seeking to generate current income while constantly minimizing risk of capital. For this reason ACM does not employ leverage. ACM believes returns can be maximized when this investment approach is maintained in a disciplined manner. ACM believes that by taking concentrated positions in S&P 500 companies that have been thoroughly researched, stronger returns can be generated for clients as compared with fund managers who hold a broad number of positions. ACM believes its investment strategies are ideally suited for: Clients of ACM are invited to open accounts with two well known brokerage firms where ACM has existing relationships: Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. “Schwab” and E*TRADE Securities LLC "E*TRADE". Upon receiving written trading authorization from each client, ACM is responsible for investing a client’s funds. As per each Client Agreement with ACM, each client receives full SIPC insurance protection for their accounts as each client is also a full client of these brokerage firms. Please review each firm’s asset protection policy for more information. Both firms offer high customer service while charging some of the lowest commission rates in the industry. ACM is prohibited from making any withdrawals from client accounts. Every client account is a Separate Managed Account “SMA” with either Schwab or E*TRADE. Clients are free to withdraw all or any part of the funds in their account at any time after providing ACM and their chosen brokerage firm written notice. There is no lockup period for clients of ACM. ACM is a Registered Investment Advisor licensed by the Florida Office of Financial Regulation.
