We are everyday people looking to find answers in the paranormal field.  We use basic and high tech equipment to back up our findings.   ​American Paranormal Adventures, LLC better known as APA, is founded by Tammy Misner and co-founded by Loretta Peters.  Tammy and Loretta are your typical housewives with a curiosity of the paranormal.  We are (almost) empty nesters and ready to chase our passion of learning the unknown.  While we watched the ghost hunting shows on television, we couldn’t help but to want to go on ghost hunts ourselves.  As we talked more openly about our curiosity and experiences in the paranormal we have both had we realized there are many more people out there with the same curiosity and fear of the unknown as we have had.  So we decided to bring it to those of you.  We hire the best team of equally dedicated, professional and friendly investigators.   Recently established, we continually strive to deliver quality ghost investigations at different locations to suit all budgets throughout America. We’ve both been fascinated by the paranormal world for many years.  Over the years, I (Tammy) have had experiences that I can not explain and have always wondered if what I saw and experienced was real or if I was dreaming or imagining things.  So I started watching the ghost hunting shows on TV and really wanted to search myself for answers.  I was invited to a ghost hunt weekend event in Tombstone, AZ held by another company and was so excited to do a real investigation at this well known historical and haunted town.  The woman who organized the event did a very poor job putting it together.  I have a background in managing conferences and events so my husband suggested I talk to her and offer to help her organize these events.  She had the connections and I had the background in event planning, a perfect combination.  However, due to other circumstances with this event, I changed my thoughts about working with her.  So my husband then suggested I create my own company and bring the same experience I wanted to have to others who have same curiosity like me.  I brought this idea to my friend Loretta, who also has the same curiosity and loves the paranormal as well.  Loretta is the one who is fearless and loves the scary movies, I don't.  I don't like anything evil as I have more of the spiritual connection with the paranormal.  She was totally on board so together we are working on building up a credible reputation in the paranormal industry by bringing in experienced investigators to teach and guide our guests in proper steps of ghost hunting.  Showing our guests how to find and respect the spirit world. Hopefully this will show we’re more than just an events company, we do what we do, because of our own passion to experience more paranormal “stuff" just like you!  We cater for newcomers as well as the more experienced. Our nights are about quality not quantity. We don’t over sell our events as we want to give our guests the opportunity to really get involved with controlled experiments that can be harder to do in large groups.  We have purchased the latest equipment which along with our experience paranormal investigators equipment will teach and encourage our guests on how to use. We always try to explain/ debunk anything that happens on a night before labelling it as potentially paranormal. We don’t fake anything and we will never fabricate anything on our events to enhance the experience. What we can say is, we will keep you busy carrying out activities and do our best to make sure you really enjoy your paranormal adventure and have fun whatever may or may not happen! It’s your night after all! We want you guys to enjoy yourselves and our events and locations are chosen for their reported paranormal activities. Some locations due to their very nature, can be amazing places to explore, with caves, tunnels and attic spaces. We take your well being very seriously so carry full public liability insurance and carry out risk assessments before every event. If we venture outdoors to places where we can run into other people, such as cemeteries, or wooded areas, we will have security with us.  We do ask each guest to sign a liability form prior to our hunts.  Guests are under no obligation to carry out anything they don’t feel comfortable doing and we will do our upmost to find alternative, suitable activities to make each individual enjoy their night to the full.
