The President and CEO, Marc Henry Gusto, has a diverse background in Finance, International Management, Cultural and Ethnical diversities. Marc is a family man. His daily passion is to work with integrity, honestly, and lead by example. Marc has been married for 24 years. He and his wife are proud parents of a daughter currently attending the University of North Carolina in Greensboro and a son that is a junior at Providence High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. Marc was born in White Plains, New York, grew up in Miami, Florida with three brothers, spend one year by himself during college in Caracas, Venezuela learning the Spanish language, culture and people. Marc worked in the wide-body kitchen cleaning dishes and a ramp serviceman for United Airlines at San Francisco International Airport. Marc was a union member of then, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM). Marc graduated from Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in International Management and transferred from the “ramp” to UAL management as a Logistics Controller working in the Systems Aircraft Maintenance Control Center (SAMC) at the SFO maintenance base on the graveyard shift. Marc moonlighted during this time and established (on the West Coast of the US), the highest revenue producing territory in North America for an overseas manufacturer from Western Australia. Marc has travelled extensively and has an acute understanding of diverse cultures. Marc is a car enthusiast and also found time to work for BMW. While working for BMW, Marc earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix before moving his family to Charlotte from Northern California in 2007. Marc started his career as a financial advisor at this time to “help those people whom didn’t understand the first thing about a retirement plan (401k), investing, long-term planning, retirement income and legacy planning.” I studied night and day to earn the following FINRA security licenses; 7, 31, 63 & 65. Marc also has earned the Professional Plan Consultant designation to assist businesses in establishing and maintaining a successful employer sponsored retirement plan for their employees. Marc currently manages millions of dollars in client assets, has partnered with his retirement plans to provide “entry-level” knowledge to those employee-participants that are afraid of the “typical” financial advisor by being personal, attentive, caring, understanding, and most importantly, listening to individual needs of the American workers.” .
