In 1992, a trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, and soon after to Peru and Argentina, provided me with an indescribable passion and enthusiasm to develop and promote luxury travel and enriching tourism to South & Central America. My numerous travels since, throughout Latin America allows me to gain extensive destination and insider access, build an expansive network of contacts and resources and remain well respected amidst the finest suppliers and travel hospitality industry executives throughout the sub-continent. Besides conducting numerous travel seminars on destination education and awareness on behalf of various Latin America airlines and tourist boards, I also served as President (2006 & 2007) and Chairman (2008 & 2009) of the South & Central American Travel Association (SATA). In 2011, I was truly honored to receive SATA’s highest recognition, the prestigious Oscar Lobo Award for my heartfelt commitment to promote travel and tourism to South & Central America. As Founder and President of Alluring Americas, I strive to ensure we have spectacular insight into little known regions and distinctive accommodations complemented by a sophisticated style of travel. I am continuously intrigued by the continent’s colorful mosaic of engaging cultures, exotic wildlife, majestic landscapes and genuine traditional hospitality. And if I am not somewhere, someplace in Latin America or at the office in beautiful Winter Park, FL, you will likely find me enjoying my next passion… golf! , I believe that knowing the destination first hand, and above all, knowing the client and being discerning of their needs and interests is priority. Most of the trips I design are once in a lifetime trips so turning a dream trip into a reality is probably what I love most about my role at Alluring Americas. And being able to make that happen for others is truly rewarding. I am also a mother of 2 young girls. I love accompanying them to dance or soccer class, and traveling internationally with them. This also helps relate to families and plan better experiences for them.
