Allure Laser Treatment News and Information If you are using Retin-A, retinols, glycolics, or salicylic acid topicals (such as Pro-Active), you will need to discontinue these products 4-7 days before beginning any hair removal treatments on the face or neck. One hour before your treatment, take 2 Extra Strength Tylenols to minimize discomfort. To avoid opening of treated veins and significant bruising, do not take aspirin or other anti-inflammatory products or Omega 3, 6, or 9 (fish oil supplements) for 1 week before treatment. Avoid any irritants to your skin such as any products containing Retin-A retinol, benzolyl peroxide, glycol/salicylic acids, or astringents for one week after your laser spider vein treatment. To avoid the opening of the treated veins and significant bruising do not take aspirin or other anti-inflammatory products (Anacin, Bufferin, Advil, or Nuprin) or Omega 3, 6 or 9 (Fish oil supplements) for one week after treatment.
