Joseph’s son, Cloyce, takes over the company and moves it to Pittsburg, Kansas. Don Johnston, aged 13, climbs his first elevated water tank as he helps his father move the tank from Nashville, TN to Edmonton, KY. Management of the company passes to his wife, Donna McClelland. The company begins manufacturing and constructing tanks, while maintaining its long history in tank maintenance. PTTG Holding Company is Formed The three companies of Pittsburg Tank and Tower Company, Allstate Tower and Pittsburg Tank & Tower Maintenance Company unite and adopt the “One Team, One Dream” motto. After a lifetime in the business, learning every part and process of the business, Ben earns the reins from his father. Still family owned, with the third generation in critical roles within the company, PTTG is positioned to continue to serve its community and its customers with excellence.
