Hi, everyone! I am Allison Bolsega, the proud owner and photographer here at Allison Bolsega Photography. I am a lover of light, smiles, chipotle, giving back and minions. I am obsessed with the color teal (or turquoise, they are one in the same to me), reclaimed wood furniture and Mumford & Sons. I am a mother to 3 wonderfully amazing little boys, a wife, and the care taker to 2 dogs – and a handful of fish. When I was a kid I always had a dream of being a photographer. Back then I thought I would be taking pictures of wild tigers or elephants in the heart of Africa. Then I read an article about nature photographers. The article said that I would actually have to be camping, in a tent, in the middle of nowhere for days/weeks/months on end. I knew right then I would NEVER be doing that. After that article the whole photography thing was put on the back burner for a while. I graduated high school, went to college, got married and had a few kids. In 2009 when my second son was born, I was able to buy my first “big” camera. As soon as I had it in my hands I fell in love again. It was just your run of the mill, entry level canon DSLR, but to me it was EVERYTHING.
