Everyday our nation is exposed to unconstitutional attacks on our religious freedom. Alliance for Religious Freedom (ARF) aims to align citizens in the truth of our Godly heritage and refute the “myth” of separation of church and state. “The only truth regarding the myth of separation of church and state, is that the churches in our nation have separated themselves from the activities of the state–and that’s to the detriment of the state and its people.” George Barna Our entire system of government has been built on the assumption that our rights come from our Creator, not the government. Certainly, the Founders acknowledged that allegiance to God precedes allegiance to the state. ARF has been formed to educate Americans and inspire them to join us in exposing, confronting and reversing the growing hostility towards religious expression. It starts with an understanding of the Founding Fathers original intent. Then, in turn, each individual can reintroduce these religious freedom rights back into our culture, beginning with their own circle of influence. With the free flow of internet communication, it can be as easy as posting these truths of our Godly heritage on FaceBook, reaching their circle of influence instantly. We are blessed with the easiest time in history to initiate and spark another Great Awakening in America! “We the People” need to remind our elected officials that our nation is suffering today because their governing philosophy no longer reflects God’s law. “We the People” need to encourage them to restore God and His Word to His rightful place in our nation. Thankfully, the pulpits in our nation still have the platform to significantly influence the social and political arenas. Pastors still have the freedom of religious expression to preach what the Holy Bible teaches about every issue we face. All pastors need to be reminded how important their voices are regarding all issues in our culture today – and yes, even in politics and political hot button issues. My vision is to allow the Founders and early church ministers to speak their own words to our elective representatives and pastors.
