All Florida Claims Adjusting is a licensed public adjusting firm focused on maximizing your insurance recovery and minimizing your stress and frustration in the difficult time of a loss. Our goal is to make you whole again. Our claims adjusters got their start on adjusting hurricane claims in 2004 and 2005 working for a large adjusting firm. We learned the industry’s do’s and dont’s and identified things we would change if we were in control. In 2010 we did just that. We left the agency and began our own practice and All Florida Claims Adjusting was launched. Hurricane Irma was a catastrophic event that is still draining resources all throughout Florida. Remember all of the power companies that traveled south on I-75 when everyone else was evacuating north? The state of Florida contracted with out of state power companies to help restore power in our state as quickly as possible. These power companies don’t regularly work in Florida, or for your local power company. The same concept is true for your insurance company. Since the damage from Irma was so widespread, the insurance companies have contracted with independent adjusters to come to your home and assess the damage on behalf of your insurance company, as they simply don’t have enough adjusters on staff to handle the demand. This poses a very interesting scenario. How do you now navigate this organizational flow? There are very specific “Do’s and Don’ts” to follow in the time of a catastrophic event. Remember, these outside adjusters don’t likely work work for your insurance company. How long did it take for your adjuster to get to your home or business after you filed the claim? These adjusters are extremely busy and have a tremendous case load. It is not uncommon for mistakes to occur or not enough attention to be given to a file when they are so overwhelmed with claims.
