Our mission is to make sonography resources readily available to you and the entire ultrasound community! We are your resource for everything ultrasound! All About Ultrasound was designed by sonographers for fellow sonographers and the medical sonography profession. Our site was created by multi-credentialed sonographers with the sole purpose to improve access to the ultrasound tools and resources you need. This website is meant to be a resource tool for fellow sonographers like you and the ultrasound industry. As a sonographer, it can often be difficult or cumbersome to find and access the resources you need for career development and advancement. It is our goal to bring all of your ultrasound needs and solutions together in a one-stop professional ultrasound environment. Sonography is an ever-changing field and we are excited to adapt with it to bring you the information and resources you need. So whether you need Ultrasound Registry Prep, Job Search, CME's or more, we thank you for placing your trust in the team here at All About Ultrasound.  ​All About Ultrasound was founded and developed by Lara Miller, RDMS, RVT, RDCS, RCCS as a resource for fellow sonographers and the medical community. Lara began her ultrasound career in 2002, graduating with a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences in Orlando, Florida (now known as Adventist University of Health Sciences). She worked as a diagnostic medical sonographer for a local trauma center and outpatient facility before cross-training into echocardiography with a local mobile ultrasound company. Lara then advanced to become the Clinical Director of that company and went on to open her own mobile ultrasound company and nationwide accreditation firm in 2008. Lara is now the Cardiovascular Quality Accreditation and Education Specialist for a health system in Southwest Florida. She has successfully cross-trained numerous sonographers in order to help them broaden their scope of practice and has also assisted many hospital facilities and physician offices to successfully obtain echocardiography and vascular ultrasound accreditation through the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission and American College of Radiology.
