Most recently Mr. Goldstein was a founding partner of Middlemarch Partners, a New York boutique merchant banking firm. Earlier in his career, Mr. Goldstein was a Partner at Milestone Advisors, a Managing Director at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, and one of the initial members of Sandler O’Neill and Partners. Across these three firms, he served as an investment banker advising banks, private equity sponsors, and financial services companies on debt and equity strategies. Among his accomplishments, Mr. Goldstein developed a number of innovative transactions including creating a billion dollar marketplace for assignment of Federal Home Loan Bank Advances between member financial institutions. Mr. Goldstein also has direct financial services operating experience where he has previously been a founding partner in a MasterCard issued credit card originator, as well as the founder of an online consumer lending business.
