Joseph Cilio spent 19 years helping to build his family’s garden art, manufacturing, wholesale and import business before he recognized a void in the marketplace. What Joseph saw, and experienced first-hand, was that independent retailers needed an easier way to enter the outdoor living market. They needed a trusted source who personally understood their needs and could extend purchasing options and a wide variety of products that would fit their stores’ specific needs. Joseph’s idea moved from concept to reality, in 2004, his brother Anthony Cilio joined the team and the evolution continued. We started with our focus on outdoor living accessories: bistros, tabletop fountains, plant stands. Word of our capabilities spread, awareness increased and we found ourselves in the best position ever: our products were in demand! Since then, we have added experienced industry professionals, creative minds, talented designers and hard-working service personnel to our team. We have greatly expanded our casual furniture and garden accent lines, as well as our accessory selection. On top of all that, we have integrated all sales, design, product development, warehousing, logistics and customer service activity under one 80,000 square foot roof just outside Philadelphia, PA. Today, we distribute over 30 collections of casual furniture, more than 600 garden planters and accessories, and offer a wide range of outdoor oven and grill products! We distribute product across North America and the Caribbean through our independent retailers: these include independent specialty casual and full-line furniture stores, hearth and home retailers, home and garden centers, barbeque stores, interior and landscape designers. In addition to our own showroom just outside of Philadelphia, we have trade showrooms in Atlanta and Chicago, and participate in a national trade shows circuit. The leadership at Alfresco Home is always exploring “what could be?” We are perfecting our comfort story with a clear goal to design and manufacture the most comfortable chair in the industry. We have been aligning all of our factories and warehouses with cohesive top notch quality assurance standards.
