In the first race, Landy started seventh in the Alex Job Racing prepared No. 49 Forto Strong Coffee Porsche 991. A couple laps into the race, he was up to fifth and running with the lead pack before the race went full course caution for a car that was stopped on track due to a fire in the cockpit. Landy avoided making contact with the stopped car, but went off track to do so and knocked the front splitter off the car in the process. He was fifth when the race returned to green and that's where he finished.
