Jonathan Hu has over 25 years of experience in the managed care arena. He began his career with Humana Health Plan in 1987 as a Provider Relation Representative advancing to become one of their Executive Directors. In 1992, Mr. Hu joined Healthcare USA, a start-up HMO in the State of Florida, as the VP of Network Development. Here he expanded the company operations and completed their provider network in FL, GA, MS, LA, SC and AL. In 1995, Mr. Hu formed Champion Healthcare in Florida. An HMO with investors, and as the Executive Vice President he completed a provider network in 26 counties. In 2001, Mr. Hu joined operations with Access Health Solutions as VP of Network Development. Through their provider network, the company serviced over 130,000 Medicaid recipients in the State of Florida. Access Health Solutions was then acquired by Centene Corporation, and renamed as Sunshine State Health Plan in 2008. He was able to complete the provider network as an HMO setting and increased the membership to 190,000 in 2010. Currently Mr. Hu is Allegro Health Solutions’s VP of Network Development. Mr. Hu specializes in building provider networks for health care plans (consisting of hospitals, primary care physicians, specialists and ancillary providers). PROVIDER PORTAL WELCOME TO ALEGRO HEALTH SOLUTIONS Alegro Health Solutions, is a MSO (Management Services Organization) operating out of the Greater Tampa Florida Area, currently expanding into; Flagler, Hillsborough, Lake and Polk counties among others. Alegro Health Solutions will provide health care solutions to businesses and individuals committed to gaining control of their health care costs through its network of company-owned physicians’ practices, affiliated physicians and specialists, and related company-owned and affiliated ancillary health care providers. Mission It is an organization that can be owned by a group of physicians, a physician/hospital joint venture or investors in conjunction with physicians. MSOs generally provide practice management and administrative support services to individual physicians or small group practices. One purpose of MSOs is to relieve physicians of non-medical business functions so that they can concentrate on the clinical aspects of their practice. An MSO is a flexible and functional approach to bringing physicians into working alliance without making them relinquish autonomy.
