Robert M. Maloney, Jr. has over 36 years of experience in the airfreight industry. After completing two years of studies at Hawthorne College in New Hampshire, and two years of service with the U. S. Army in Munich, Germany, he began his career with Intercontinental Air Freight in 1968 in the customs house brokerage department. In 1976 he transferred to Air General where he supervised all areas of the company’s ramp handling and warehouse operations in Boston. As the company grew, Bob advanced from operations management to corporate management where he focused on the duties of treasurer. In 1996 he assumed the role of Senior Vice President and COO with overall responsibility for the operations of the company. Bob was elected President in 1998. Patrick Maloney joined Air General’s corporate office in Peabody Massachusetts in 2005. He started his aviation career in a cargo handling warehouse in Boston in 1999. He graduated from Northeastern University in 2004 with a triple major in Management Information Systems, Entrepreneurship and Finance. While rounding out his education Patrick worked as a Financial Advisor and in Information Technology before returning to Air General in 2005. After serving as Chief Financial Officer during which time he was responsible for all company finances and technology, Patrick was named President in January 2015. Donna joined Air General in October 2012 after a 32 year career in commercial aviation with British Airways.  A graduate of Georgetown University, with an MBA from Central Michigan University, Donna has held various executive level positions with British Airways.  As Director of Cargo Midwest Region, she managed operations and sales while participating in a complete re-engineering of World Cargo.  Returning to Passenger Service on the East Coast, Donna chaired the International Carriers Committee while serving as Airport Manager for BA in Newark, and represented the airlines as IATA Slot Coordinator for two years.  As Director Service Delivery Mid-Atlantic Airports she was responsible for airport operations, manpower, budgeting, safety and compliance. While VP Customer Contact Donna participated in the restructuring of Call Management, a role which led her to the position of Director, Customer Service Delivery for North America & Asia Pacific. Donna looks after customer contracts, facility leases and sources new business opportunities Paul has over 34 years experience in the air transportation industry. After receiving a Transportation Management Degree in the United Kingdom in 1970, he spent eleven years with British Airways as a Commercial Manager Overseas assigned throughout the world. He was station manager for various major international airlines, including British Caledonian and Pan Am. Paul joined Air General in September 1992, transferred to Corporate Headquarters in 1998, and was subsequently promoted to Vice President Operations for Air General system-wide. Paul is responsible for nationwide operations and customer service activities. Frank Keller has over 31 years of experience in the air cargo industry. He began his career in 1980 with Lufthansa German Airlines in Frankfurt, Germany. Frank worked in various facets of Lufthansa Cargo in both Germany and the U.S., including import/export documentation, cargo reservations, load planning, and weight and balance. He transferred to Boston in 1989 where he held the position of Cargo Service Manager before joining Air General in 1999 as Assistant Director of Operations. Frank was promoted to Director of Operations in May 2001. His extensive background with a major international airline enables him to adeptly apply his cargo expertise to the Air General system. Jeff joined the company in August 2002. He has over 14 years of experience in the International Air Cargo Industry. He also served 7 years in the U.S. Air Force, as an F-16 Avionics Maintenance Instructor and Technician and worked in several countries throughout the world. Jeff was with British Airways for 14 years and brings to the company experience in project management, and overall airline cargo operations. He is responsible for corporate safety and security compliance, working closely with each Air General station manager, and ensuring the safety of our operations and compliant conduct of our cargo handling business. A fifteen year veteran with Air General, Ken managed our Miami Ocean Operation,  and subsequently our Tampa Air Operation, including an FTZ,  until 2000. Ken has since been the General Manager of our Charlotte Hub for over 12 years, and has many skills along with considerable domestic and international expertise. As Regional Field Director, Operations and Compliance Ken will support and increase the oversight of our stations, and aims to strengthen operational compliance and customer service in our expanding network. Air General Inc. was founded in 1961, and incorporated in Massachusetts by Robert M. Maloney Sr. The company was initially established as a ground handling company specializing in handling cargo aircraft in Boston. Some of the first airline customers included Lufthansa, British Overseas Air Cargo, Seaboard World Airlines and Zantop Airlines. The operation mainly consisted of loading and unloading aircraft. Stations were established in several cities across the country, including Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, Los Angeles, Little Rock and Providence. During the 1970s Air General had the distinction of being the first ground handling company in the United States to handle the new 747-F all cargo aircraft. The company continued to expand its ground handling contracts through this decade. A new manpower payroll service contract was established with Air France in Boston. An affiliate company was established to support this new service contract. Air General expanded into warehouse handling for international airlines. Airport cargo facilities were established in Atlanta, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston for British Caledonian Airlines. This expansion marked a new direction for the company, which involved the administrative side of the cargo it had previously handled. New levels of expertise were required to process international documents and comply with U.S. Customs regulations.
