Dale started his aviation career in 1984 working with a local helicopter company flying as co-pilot in a Sikorsky S-58. After 20 years working in the external load industry he opened Red Dog Helicopters and started flying tours, surveys and aerial photography. He has flown aerial film work for the DIY Network, Dream Machines television show and has provided aerial photography /survey services for South Florida Water Management District, State of Florida Fish & Game Commission, Florida Hospital, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and Bio-Tech Services to name a few. His aircraft flight experience covers the Sikorsky S-58, Bell Jet Ranger and the Robinson R44. Having been born and raised here in Orlando his favorite flights to perform are the Real Florida Eco Tours over the natural landscapes and waterways.
Bryon is a full time Battalion Chief for a local Fire Department and flies part-time for Air Force Fun. The former commanding officer of a rescue helicopter unit, Bryon brings to us many years of aviation experience. Bryon has flown helicopters across the United States for the movie/film industry, aerial mapping industry, and wildlife survey missions. When not working, Bryon enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
As a life long aviation dreamer, Dan started his career in aviation at joined the Navy in 2004. After five years of service he decided to pursue other opportunities. He attended Middle Georgia State University where he learned to fly helicopters and earned a BS in Business Administration. As an intern-instructor he was selected to become the Assistant Chief Helicopter Instructor at Middle George State. In 2015 Dan moved to Orlando to fly tours and has enjoyed every minute!
Tyler has been involved in aviation since 2000 when he was an Electrician on the C-5 for the U.S. Air Force. Using his G.I. Bill, he obtained his commercial instrument helicopter rating flying Schweizer 300c and Robinson R44’s. Tyler went on to fly a 206L4 for external load and Bambi bucket firefighting training. He has been involved in flying for professional photography flights along with entertaining guests at airshows and festivals. Tyler is originally from Wisconsin and enjoys all types of water sports. Making trips to the Bahamas in his plane is one of his favorite things to do while living in FL.
The Robinson R44 is a four-seat light helicopter produced by the Robinson Helicopter Company since 1992. Based on the company’s two-place Robinson R22, the R44 features hydraulically-assisted flight controls. The R44 was first flown in March of 1990, and received FAA certification in December of 1992, with the first delivery in February of 1993.
