Carlos is a seasoned veteran in all aspects of the HVAC industry, with over 30 years of experience as an air conditioning service provider and contractor. He possesses both the skills and expertise necessary in providing total comfort solutions for your home or business. In 1985, Carlos received his certification in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Mechanics, and began his career as a Residential Service Technician. For several years, Carlos worked with other respected Air Conditioning companies where he was able to master the knowledge needed to branch out on his own. Upon receiving his Air Conditioning Contractor “Class A” License, Air Boca, Inc. was born. Over the years, Air Boca, Inc. has gained a large clientele, and with their devotion, has lead the company to success. While Carlos is the expert on all things HVAC, it’s Sofia who runs the administrative side of the business. She handles the taxes, bookkeeping, accounts payable, and payroll, and makes sure that you, her clients, are getting the most savings on your AC equipment. After making the journey from Cuba to America at age 18, she found herself employed at the Boca Raton Resort and Club. Her gracious personality paired with hard work and determination allowed her to quickly move up in the ranks until she was working as administrative assistant to the executive chef. She credits her ten years of experience at the Resort for giving her excellent business management skills and for teaching her the ins and outs of running a business in a fast-paced environment. Once Carlos had the licensing he needed, Sofia took all she had learned and joined her husband as his newest business partner. Together they have worked for 25 years to grow a successful company based on their family values. Though paperwork is important, one of Sofia’s greatest roles in the business is laying the foundation for team camaraderie. She considers each member of the team part of the Air Boca Family and works hard to ensure both Air Boca’s clients and employees are satisfied with their work.
