Our director founded Ahoy Learning with the goal that   children should have equal access to the help they need ​It became an imperative goal to create a tutoring system that helps all children, with an emphasis on the younger ones. One that does not solely focus on the learning gains, but rather also on the development of the whole child, building a love for learning and boosting self-confidence. This is our mission and we are proud to offer our help to children everywhere.  With over 15 years of experience, ​our team specializes in reading and mathematics tutoring for students in grades PK-5, Kindergarten readiness, SAT (K-2nd) and FSA (3rd-5th) test prep, PK & Kindergarten readiness, and homework help. Over the years, we have developed tutoring packages that fit many family's needs and budget. ​We look forward to helping your child TODAY! What kind of training do ahoy learning tutors have? They are also thoroughly trained and provided with the corresponding materials to tutor your child.  Will I know if my child is making progress? YES!! You will absolutely be notified of your child's progress throughout your session plan. Ahoy Learning is proud to offer its transparency policy. We are looking to add more team members that speak other languages, as well. We offer tutoring services to ESL students and utilize ESOL strategies/techniques to optimize their learning experiences. ¡Se habla Español! Given that tutoring occurs in the comfort of your own home or local library, we are available Monday - Saturday, 8 AM-8 PM. Essentially, most children need at least 2-3 hours of tutoring per week. However, we will make our personalized recommendations once we meet with you and discuss your goals for your child. Ahoy Learning is your leading private tutoring service provider.
