Founded by a Florida dentist to provide dental and vision benefits that offer value and quality to members, Argus is owned and operated by professionals with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Argus has built one of the largest proprietary dental networks with a national partnership in all fifty states in the United States. Our network of partnering dentists continues to grow at a rapid rate and currently offers members their choice of dentists from over 100,000 combinations of partnering general and specialty locations. Argus Dental & Vision offers the first dental plan and vision plan in the United States to be accredited for quality care by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and is contracted with the Florida Healthy Kids Corporation to provide affordable dental care to children in Florida. All Argus dentists are credentialed in accordance with guidelines set forth by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Launched in June 2013, Argus Vision provides routine and medical eye care solutions to health plans. Argus Vision is currently developing a credentialed proprietary eye care network that includes both retail optical and independent optometrist locations. Vision plans feature a flexible financial structure in accordance with specific needs including full risk and/or ASO contracting options. Our mission is to provide benefits that offer value and quality to our members, promote the importance of oral and optical health, and achieve widespread member satisfaction. My family and I love it because it provides cleanings and x-rays for everyone for just the cost of the policy. The Argus staff is professional, courteous and very efficient. Overall great experience. Highly recommend! Argus has been great to work with, everyone I've spoken with has been friendly and helpful. I called to check on approval status for Dental Work. The Representative was very helpful and professional. Her name was Ashley and she even called my Dentist's Office to discuss the approval process. Ashley made every effort to get issue resolved. It is rare to find this level of Customer Service today. Last August, when I renewed my Master Plan, I knew I would be out of the country on business for several months. My dentist was able to schedule my cleaning before I left. With two free cleanings in the plan, I feel that it is money well spent.
