Adriene’s “walk in your shoes” candidness, authenticity and humorous approach wins the hearts of her audience during presentations, workshops, parent/caregiver support groups, educators and service providers and corporate teams. Within her community, Adriene helps to raise public awareness and funds for spinal cord injuries and autism treatments. As an example, she initiated the blue donut campaign at Dunkin Donuts throughout Broward County, during April’s autism awareness month. The funds benefit Broward County’s Center for Autism & Disabilities (CARD). Mission: To empower and inspire young adults and adults with High Functioning Autism (HFA) or Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) with strategies, encouragement and resources to gain and maintain employment and independence.
