Our mission Physicians Pharmacy Alliance, Inc. (“PPA”) is an integrated pharmacy management organization focused on complex patient populations who have high potential for poor outcomes and increased hospitalizations due to challenges in medication management. PPA works directly with Providers and Payors to identify and manage high risk patients using an integrated and collaborative approach. And our customers benefit. Company History Physicians Pharmacy Alliance was founded in 2002 with a mission to improve the access of medications and support the complex patients in the adherence of those medications. With a focus on Medicaid and low income patients, PPA developed systems and tools specifically designed to support this complex population. As the industry changed, we changed with it. We now provide programs to support Managed Medicaid and ACO plans and service patients in North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, Kentucky, Maryland and the District of Columbia. PPA provides hands-on patient care that hinges on collaboration across payors, providers and caseworkers to simplify complex regimens, identify gaps in care, provide at-home interventions, monitor adherence and report therapeutic outcomes. We also empower patients with the adherence tools and support they need to better manage their health. Our proven methods of collaboration and personalized support reduce hospital readmissions and deliver significant improvements in adherence, outcomes and cost savings for the high-risk patient population we serve. Mr. Stark serves as CEO of Physicians Pharmacy Alliance (PPA), and continues to serve as PPA’s Chief Financial Officer, the role he initially assumed when he joined the Company in July 2012. Pete’s experience includes more than 20 years in financial planning and analysis, accounting, and operations management, the last 18 years exclusively in the healthcare sector. Gail Stallings brings more than fifteen years of senior Human Resources experience with her to PPA. Before joining PPA, Gail served as the Vice President of Global Human Resources for Celestica Corporation. As a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, Gail has a strong record of providing strategic HR Business Partner support to organizations and has a proven track record of developing and implementing. Senior VP of Sales & Business Development Bart Hester is a results driven sales executive with thirty years of proven experience in management, business development, sales, marketing, account management, and leadership for healthcare services organizations. Before joining PPA, Bart was an Executive Vice President at Healthcare Solutions, Inc. where he significantly grew revenue and expended the product portfolio. ur healthcare system is under tremendous pressure—from changes in legislation to a challenging economy—making it difficult to deliver healthcare that provides both improved outcomes and cost savings for the most complex patients.
