Country Manager, International Biotech Company Whilst Head of Clinical Quality Assurance in a global pharma company, I had to outsource clinical audits because of a frequent need for additional resources or specialised skills. The choice available to me was either a freelance clinical auditor, or an auditor within the QA department of a large CRO. I found that the number of freelance auditors with the necessary skills and capability was limited. Those that were suitably experienced were usually booked-up for 6 months and would not be able to help me with my immediate (usually urgently) need. The large CROs could provide highly skilled individuals at short notice, but there were conflict of interest issues. Most CROs are unhappy (understandably) to be audited by a competitor CRO. I wanted to work with a truly independent QA group that could provide me with skilled and experienced resources when I needed them, and without any conflict of interest. At the time, there were no such companies available, and so I decided to set one up! Hence, in 1997 ADAMAS Consulting was established with a team of experienced auditors. Now, we have offices in UK, USA and India from where we conduct clinical audits all over the world. We have 500+ years combined experience, working around the globe there isn’t anything we’ve not encountered in our sector. We're very approachable and happy to help.
