We provide increased capabilities through a full spectrum of insurance related products, consulting services, and enhanced carrier relationships. Gregory L. Williams is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader who has successfully founded and managed three companies throughout the course of his career. In May 2005, Greg co-founded Acrisure, LLC for the purpose of investing in independent insurance agencies around the globe. With a compounded annual growth rate of over 80% since inception, Acrisure is now among the ten largest insurance brokers in the world and the most profitable compared to its peers. He has led Acrisure since inception to now over $1.2 billion in revenue and developed a culture of collaboration and significant organic growth. In 2016, Greg led a management buyout of Acrisure’s private equity investor in a $2.9 billion transaction. As a result, the company is now majority owned (over 82%) by the management team and its operating partners with Board control as well. In addition, Greg has been a Board Advisor to a variety of companies, and from 1981 to 1990, Greg was a Vice President for Michigan National Corporation (MNC), a $19 billion bank holding company. As a senior executive at MNC, Greg managed the Commercial Sales and Services Group, was a member of the Corporate Marketing Committee and chaired the Corporate Operations Committee. Greg is married to Dawn and has a daughter, Megan and son, Michael. Norman Brown joined Acrisure as Chief Financial Officer in September 2017 with over 25 years of insurance industry experience. Previously, Norman was Chief Executive Officer of StarStone Insurance Group’s U.S. Operations, a global specialty insurer. He has also served in executive roles for several insurance services firms, including Chief Financial Officer of Wright Insurance and Head of Strategy and Corporate Development of Marsh Inc. He started his career in investment banking and private equity for insurance and insurance-related companies. Norman graduated from Dartmouth College and received a MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Sozon brings over ten years of business leadership experience to his role. As Retail Chief Operating Officer, Sozon works closely with Agency Partners and Operational Leadership executing organizational initiatives to further strong organic growth and overall success. Previously, Sozon served as Executive Vice President, Employee Benefits where he worked closely in collaboration with Agency Partners to build and implement industry leading employee benefit strategies. Prior to that he served as Chief Executive Officer of Alltrust Insurance, an Acrisure Agency Partner, and one of Florida’s leading employee benefits and human resources solutions firms. Matt Schweinzger brings his expertise in mergers and acquisitions to Acrisure by assisting the team in its continued efforts to grow the Agency Partner network. Through acquisitions of independent insurance agencies as well as through acquiring production talent with ownership in client accounts, Matt contributes to the expansion of Acrisure while remaining dedicated to preserving a culture of organic growth. Prior to joining Acrisure in 2014, Matt was an integral member of the Investment Professional team at Genstar Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, where he worked to identify, evaluate, and execute acquisition and investment opportunities. Matt also worked for Morgan Stanley’s Mergers and Acquisitions team in New York, working to devise and execute customized solutions for clients. Matt holds a BS in Finance and Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University. Adam brings over two decades of insurance industry experience to his role. Prior to joining Acrisure, he was General Counsel of American International Group, Inc.’s (AIG) Personal Insurance business. In this capacity, he was responsible for the overall lawyering of a multi-billion dollar business with significant operations throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Prior to that, Adam served as the chief regulatory lawyer for AIG’s U.S. operations, and as the head lawyer for several of its U.S. business units. Earlier in his career, Adam served as an Associate in Winston & Strawn LLP’s Corporate Practice. , in Philosophy and Law & Society from Binghamton University, and a law degree from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a student in the Evening Division. He has also obtained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) designations. Ricky L. Norris brings over 32 years of experience in marketing, operations, fiscal planning, HR utilization, and sales management in his role as Acrisure’s co-founder and Executive Vice President. As the Executive Vice President, Ricky focuses the majority of his efforts driving organic growth and working with our new partner agencies in assimilating them to Acrisure. Prior to Acrisure, Ricky owned his own insurance practice and simultaneously acquired five businesses and grew to become the twenty-first most profitable agency within the national organization. Ricky was also a Regional Vice President for a large, successful consumer goods company overseeing a fourteen state territory worth over $100 million in sales. He earned his Business Administration degree from Michigan State University and has a seat on the board of Zero Day, a non-profit which helps Veterans find work and training for civilian job opportunities.
