Who We Are Alexandra Winsler Chau is a Sarasota, Florida native who has returned home after an extended stay in Orlando, Florida. In Orlando, Alex attended UCF for her degree in Political Science and continued onto Rollins College where she obtained her Masters of Planning in Civic Urbanism. Alex has experience working on the construction and development side of consulting, spending six years with a local firm performing multimillion dollar government construction and environmental remediation contracts. She also has years of experience in real estate consulting working for firms such as Real Estate Research Consultants (now part of GAI Consultants Community Solutions Group) and RCLCO. Alex was lucky enough to work directly under Principals of these firms to maximize exposure to everything from project budgeting and management, to research and report writing, to making sure clients were treated well beyond their expectations. She saw firsthand that happy clients mean returning clients, and she plans to deliver that same quality now as ACRE Advisors. Alex enjoys taking advantage of all Sarasota has to offer, including its wonderful natural amenities as well as supporting our small businesses. She is a member of Designing Daughters which is a group of young, empowered women raising money for local charities. With a passion for making places the best they can be, Alex was also an appointed member of the Enterprise Zone Advisory Board on which she served with Mayor Willie Shaw and County Chair Carolyn Mason. Alex holds her Florida real estate license and is also a CNU-Accredited planner. She loves spending time with her husband, a CPA in town.
