Our goal at Acosta Farms is to make your purchasing decisions easy. Small order? No problem. Short notice? Our knowledgeable team is able to process orders quickly. It's been over 40 years since Alcides Acosta planted his first grove in Miami. Decades later, he and his family own hundreds of acres of fruit trees, field-grown palms, and container palms and foliage plants in the Homestead area. Initial focus of the container farm was on tropical and cold hardy palms and cycads, but son Victor has recently expanded to include production of ferns, cordylines, yuccas, and bananas. We understand the importance of growing a wide assortment of crops, not only to help fill trucks or for you to offer your customers more variety, but to keep enthusiasm and passion alive in the industry. We are constantly looking for new and exciting varieties to trial and expand our offerings, and we are open to prebooking product and contract growing . Finished product sizes range from 10" (3G) to 21" (25G) and include both interior and exterior items. Every order is pulled, trimmed, and top-dressed at our 10-bay loading facility before shipping. Sleeves and labeling available. We are certified to ship to all states, including AZ, CA, LA, and TX. We also ship to Canada. We are proud to be a family owned and operated farm. Al and his wife, Lali can be found in the office most days, as can daughter Ileana. Victor spreads his time in all phases of the business but is very active at the container farm.
