The Story behind AccreditCoach lab, for my accreditation services. What I learned from accrediting these labs both excited me and startled me! What startled me, was the difference in the standard of care from one lab to another. Yet what excited me was, that with just a little guidance and the correct resources, improvement of quality was inevitable. I was hooked and my career as an accreditation consultant began! As an accreditation consultant, my full time business became accrediting labs throughout the country. I didn’t just accredit Labs though, I listened to problems, improved work flow and helped people. I developed best practices for every step of accreditation and stockpiled resources, tools and tips. Soon the challenge became how to handle all of my clients nationwide; it was time to focus on efficiency. This was a challenge I was up for and enjoyed; best practices, improving processes, improving quality… love it! It was time to turn a streamlined accreditation process, with an immense library of resources and tools, into a robust program that could deliver an easy, efficient and effective online accreditation program. I collaborated with healthcare executives, developers and software engineers. Combining the wealth of clinical experience with the latest technology solutions, AccreditCoach was created! Finally an online program that facilitates Do-It-Yourself Accreditation and maintains an audit ready Quality Improvement Program allowing you to achieve maximum productivity with ease of use.
