About Angela & ABS Exotic Repair My name is Angela. I am the co owner/ operator of ABS Exotic Repair, Inc. in downtown Ft Lauderdale. Cars are my passion. I have been in the auto business doing what I know and love for the past 20 years. I know what is going on with every car and every client every moment throughout the repair process. I am a published author, speaker & instructor of automotive life skill & safety courses. Years ago, I created the trademarked class the Car Clinic for Women, I still teach the course & will release a brand new on line program soon. You can see her two interviews here: He purchased the car last year and when he did I told him in six months he would be dropping the subframe and doing the suspension and that’s what you’re seeing in these pictures. We even polished the subframe so it looks brand-new. We also replaced the rear muffler with the stainless steel update and as you can see, it looks absolutely sensational. She is torn down and here is what we know: One head stud broke in the removal process, which is quite common in this car. Our customer will decide if they would like to replace the full set of head bolts. Of course that is best choice at this time, and will be up to our customer. The cylinder heads are off to machine shop & cams will be sent out for rebuild. We are also replacing the clutch. We also showed client blow by, seen in picture number 1100. We will see how the cylinder head bolts cooperate and what machine shop evaluation is. Also client wants engine compartment detailed and cleaned and shielding replaced.
