Russell Glen Looking back on his experience in rigging, Russell acknowledges that each event he has worked on was a huge undertaking that came to fruition with hard work and team efforts. Working with artists such as David Bowie, Aerosmith, George Michael, and Guns N’ Roses in the beginning of his career, Russell got a head start on helping visions become reality. For many years, Russell worked as a stage supervisor and head rigger. He has travelled the world touring with many more headlining artists such as U2, Pink Floyd, Steve Miller Band, Cirque du Soleil, Cher, Bruno Mars, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Maroon Five, and Coldplay. In fact, he’s traveled to so many countries it would be easier to name the countries he has not visited. Russell’s most cherished moments include working with Habitat for Humanity with Cher and the comradery within each tour that lead to lifelong friendships. Russell has a knack for working with people and passing on his knowledge. He is eager to work with former and new clients. Now living in the South Florida region with his wife and starting a family, Russell is passing on the torch to the area’s best crew members. His mission in Above the Mark is to provide quality service and labor while acting with honesty and integrity. Russell has been nominated for Rigger of the Year several times, yet he remains humble and always says he is extremely blessed. “We would like to stand out in our industry for providing the highest quality work and client service, as well as for treating our employees with respect so that they will help us accomplish each project focused on the same quality service.” Russell has consulted, advanced and started many tours in his career to ensure a smooth, easy start and to develop the most efficient, organized and professional way to rig the tour from start to finish. Maione-Glen has supported her husband’s dream of having his own stage labor and production business since he expressed the desire several years ago. Tara has been exposed to labor and production during her husband’s career and has also developed a love of the industry. Tara has been in the finance and real estate and legal industry for many years. Her experience includes business and finance management, practice in corporate law, and law firm management. Her years of experience managing people, organizing and running businesses, and developing new marketing techniques has proven very beneficial in the development and structure of business. Tara loves to develop new relationships with business partners and industry professionals, and she is not afraid to jump in and work alongside her crew. She strives to continually share new ideas and prides herself on client satisfaction. Despite the hectic schedule, Tara stays actively involved in community activities. She has a passion for yoga, overall empowerment, and awareness, and she adores children. Tara is married to Russell Glen and they have five children. The two hope to pass their passion for event production and labor on to their kids someday! Mr. Vallejos has been in the industry for thirty years and has traveled to over 80 countries doing what he loves: stage rigging and management. He is humble, describing himself as lucky and blessed to have been a part of rock ‘n’ Roll for most of his career. He has worked with artists such as ACDC, Rolling Stones, Three Doors Down, and Coldplay, just to name a few.
