Abaqa ABAQA specializes in the global manufacturing and supply of specialty and consumable inkjet media, laminates, and other major components of digital color output. With over a decade of experience supplying top brands and OEMs around the world, ABAQA makes it possible for those companies to introduce and sell private and custom-label products to their target markets. Product Lines and Production Product lines include: fabrics (artistic canvas, non-woven and block-out fabrics), plastics (polypropylene, polyethylene and polycarbonate), composites (scrim PVCs), block-out polyethylene and polypropylene, photo papers, art papers, laminates and other custom-made products. ABAQA’s production capabilities include: coating preparation, converting and packaging, QC and storage, dispatch and logistics. ABAQA utilizes a number of coating preparation processes with the most advanced precision coaters in the world, working with polymer solutions, high-speed dispersing and grinding, mixing, filtration and de-gassing systems. ABAQA’s capacity is more than 1 million square meters of printable coatings per month and more than 500,000 square meters of adhesive coatings per month. ABAQA employs a team of polymer chemists and product engineers with more than 150 years of combined industry experience in research and development and supply chain management. This team develops coatings for large and small-format printing platforms that employ aqueous, solvent, low-solvent, UV-curable and latex inks. With state-of-the-art testing tools ABAQA utilizes a multi-step Quality Control system with rigid inspection of raw materials, coating, semi-finished products and finished products, all quantified into a QC statistics and process data bank. North American product delivery is served by three strategic hubs in the United States. These hubs provide one- to three-day delivery to more than 90 percent of the U.S. Shipments outside of North America are available directly from ABAQA's factories around the world where lead times vary depending on the products and quantities ordered. Global expansion is currently underway that will enable fast regional and local delivery to all major global markets.
