Abaco Builders continues to maintain contact in the industry, and was heavily involved in the restoration of homes and businesses in the aftermath of Hurricanes Frances, Jean and Wilma. Abaco Builders of South Florida strongly believes in using reduced to no maintenance building materials in our construction process, and is available to educate clients on up-to-date materials and methods for reduced maintenance. Abaco Builders Owner and CEO, Chuck Lofquist, has a unique approach to the business of remodeling which is typically loaded with the unknown, such as unknown structural defects in the wall, what type of door casing to use, etc. Chuck’s goal is to spend as much time as is reasonable to build a relationship and trust with the client, and equally important, to answer those questions which help to avoid the dreaded “allowance” or change order. Chuck Lofquist values the client who wants that level of service and detail, and appreciate the results. Chuck's business stands on it's own good name, and has always been referral based. Chuck Lofquist started in the Insurance Restoration field in 1985, and proceeded to establish a family business that went on to be incorporated in 1997, with the transition to Abaco Builders in 1999. Chuck's specialty has become residential renovation, working closely with the client to help them reach their dreams and vision. , home and business additions, architectural detailing, storm proofing, exterior upgrades, second story additions, repairs from storm damage, and other construction related restoration and renovation projects. We have talented and varied team of architects and engineers. We also specialize in commercial renovation and tenant improvement (office buildout).
