Aaron Weedo is a fitness trainer and business entrepreneur based out of Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Aaron has an extensive background in sports himself, playing baseball and football his entire childhood and on through college. Aaron began training high school and college athletes in the early 2000s. He found CrossFit in 2005 and decided that was his direction to get him more exposure in the training world. He started personal training at a local gym in 2008 and quickly found that was not what he wanted to do in order to reach the masses. In 2009, Aaron teamed up with Matt Wilmoth and they opened CrossFit Sarasota together. In 2011, Aaron let CrossFit Sarasota and opened CrossFit Lakewood Ranch with his wife in September 2011. Within the first year they not only double their space, but Aaron created a thriving business, developed methodologies that have since been duplicated at three other local CrossFit gyms in the area, and has one of the most successful CrossFit gyms in the country. Not only did he outgrow his 1500 square foot facility in less than a year, but even doubling that space was not enough room for the following he had created. In 2013, Aaron moved his business and CrossFit gym into a world class facility in Lakewood Ranch, where his business still resides. This facility is now home to not only his CrossFit gym, but also houses a CrossFit Endurance Program, USAW Olympic Weightlifting Club, Self-Defense/Ju Jitsu studio, Yoga Room, and private soft tissue/ART facility. Aaron works closely with a number of trainers, professional athletes, and a clientele that can compete with any local globo gym as well as local powerhouse IMG. Aaron’s focus on business has afforded him the opportunity to work with professional athletes in Major League Baseball, the NFL, and ATP tennis pros. His experience in sports, as well as corrective exercise, movement analysis, and athlete development are what set him apart from the rest of the pack. Aaron does not do this alone however. He has a full team on staff of CSCS certified trainers, MBAs, Physical Therapists, and doctors. He may not have all the answers, but is fully confident that he and his team can help anyone accomplish any task within the health and fitness industry.
