Our technicians are OSHA certified and receive on-the-job training pursuant to industry standards established by the International Door Association (IDA). We are fully licensed and carry a $2 Million Liability Policy which insures all services and work provided. We remain a local, community based business servicing the greater Jacksonville and beaches communities from Ponte Vedra to Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach and the greater Hilton Head area in South Carolina. We connect the corridor between the two regions with service to the Savannah, Georgia area and have made a commitment to growing our industrial business in that region as well. I was good at garage doors, honest by customers and liked the work; however, I had moved to California for the opportunity and found myself missing home. So in 2001, I decided I was coming back to Jacksonville and would start my own garage door business servicing Fernandina Beach. I decided to start in that market because it was just a jump across the ferry and there were very few garage door companies there at the time. I knew the market needed someone good and I was ready to do a good job for people in my community. I started the business in June 2001. It was just me. I bought a 2002, 1500 HD, the first heavy duty Chevrolet of its kind and I pulled a big open trailer so I was able to haul and dispose of everything needed for the days jobs. I worked hard, took good care of people and treated everybody fairly and from there it took off. I developed a great clientele from word of mouth and was able to grow quickly.
