A1 Assets was founded in 2001 by our CEO, David Leavitt, as an organic small business based in Longwood, Florida. Originally named Dave’s Bargain Outlet, the company started with selling and auctioneering surplus equipment from corporate and government entities. David changed the name as the business expanded and evolved into Florida’s leading electronic recycling company. A1 Assets currently holds all of the relevant certifications under the latest responsible recycling standards, including ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, and R2:2013. As of the end of 2017, A1 Assets’ facilities have processed over 70 million pounds of electronic recyclables with a 100-percent reuse rate. In 2018, A1 Assets expanded its worldwide headquarters to a brand new 80,000 square foot facility in Lake Mary, Florida, as the company continues to increase its processing capacity, as well as explore and develop new innovative methods for the reuse and recycling of electronic devices and other materials including scrap metal. Help program VOIP phones, configure networks and help customers troubleshoot their network problems at their home or business. At least 2 years of previous network configuration and/or troubleshooting experience required. Work with computers helping us recycle, repair and configure PC systems. At least 2 years of experience handling and configuring hardware required. Are you good with online auctioneering and selling products? At least 2 years of previous auction site experience and posting products online required. To facilitate the collection of electronic recyclables and surplus goods, A1 Assets operates a fleet of modern, eco-friendly Peterbilt semi trucks, which are criss-crossing between cities across the state of Florida and Southeastern United States on a daily basis.
