Thanks for checking out A Slim Production! I’m Erin Whitlock, founder and president, raised in Sarasota, I value my city’s local culture, due in large part to our fabric of local businesses. With more than 15 years of marketing and sales experience, I have the secrets and strategies to help small companies make a splash — and a nice profit. My career began at the University of Florida, where I earned my B.S. in marketing. From there, I moved to Lake Tahoe to work at a small marketing boutique agency, then on to the bright lights of Los Angeles, where I served as a marketing specialist for CB Richard Ellis, Southern California’s no. one real estate broker and the world’s largest commercial real estate agency. Later, I worked with an agency that provides movie studios with custom promotional items for blockbuster films. In 2006, family, friends, and a fantastic job opportunity lured me back to SRQ. I signed on as Director of Marketing for Myrtha Pools, an Italian based company used by many of the top collegiate swimming programs in the U.S., the Swimming World Championships and the Olympic Games. During my tenure at Myrtha, I collaborated with the United States Olympic Committee and managed partnerships with USA Swimming, Masters Swimming, and the College Swimming Coaches Association. As much fun as I had watching Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte (Go Gators!) win gold medals, my passion for my hometown nudged me to make a change. In October of 2013, I branched out on my own to offer my expertise to the small businesses that make Sarasota a delightful place to work and play.
