The owner, Gus Valverde Jr. began his flooring career as a flooring installer’s helper in 1982 in Torrance, California, fresh out of the United States Navy. In 1987, after a 5 year apprenticeship program he began his own company, Gus the Carpet Man. Over the process of time, he excelled in the installations of both commercial and residential flooring systems. He has consistently operated an installation service in the Orlando Metropolitan area for the past 17 years. The company name, A Perfect Floor LLC, wholly describes his passion to provide unparalleled excellence in service and installations. A proud family man, Gus actively involves himself in his local community. In his 32 years as an entrepreneur and business owner, Gus has actively participated in community theatre, local school activities, scouting leadership, Toastmasters, and currently sits on the board of the Spina Bifida Association of Central Florida. As a member of the Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce, Gus continues to offer quality service to the local community as well as the Greater Orlando Metropolitan area.
