A.L. Baxley and Sons was founded in 1960 by Alfred Baxley and has been family owned and operated since then and in 1979 the company became Incorporated.  We operate using 3 crews of men, and have 21 employees.  We operate out of Marion County but work all over the state for Land Owners looking to clear cut for farm use, Contractors looking to build houses, and the State of Florida looking to control wood that has potential for disease and/or fire hazard.  Our crew leaders are all Master Logger Certified and do their best to try to maintain the integrity of the natural habitat they cut  as well as work quickly and efficiently.   We are a medium sized operation and typically require at least 25 acres + to consider cutting.  Due to our size we do not offer residential tree trimming services however we can recommend a residential tree trimming service should you ask.
