A.J. Johns, Inc. is a site development contractor that began in the local construction industry in 1970. Company founder, A.J. Johns, has been a respected leader in the Jacksonville business community since the company's inception. His integrity and honesty continues to set the benchmark of our company. Our mission and goals have been consistent and client/employee focused. The company began primarily supplying only the utility needs of our customers. In 1983 we expanded our role to a full service site development contractor to better serve the needs of our customers. In 2004 approximately 80% of our sales were driven by private residential development, both single family and multifamily. The remaining services were provided to general contractors at a sub-contractor level. . Our Safety Directors have helped to OSHA 10 certify over 85% of our work force.
