This third-generation, family-owned organization began operations in 1954 with a focus on Venetian blinds and window repairs. A & A Window Products was then incorporated in 1974 and expanded its services to include full-scale window replacements and repairs, curtain walls, architectural panels, and specialty glazing. In 1997, we relocated our building just six miles north of Boston in Malden, MA. Taking Over The Family Business Lee Sullivan begin his journey in the company as a very young man working in all aspects of the company. After graduating Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1991 he began a full-time position as an estimator and project manager. Following his father’s path, he has grown in the company to ultimately take over the family business in 2006 as the new President of A & A Window Products, Inc. Since then he has continued our mantra of safety, quality, and service to a wide range of clients. He has been able to expand our work throughout New England forming A & A into one of the most trusted vendors. With more than 80 employees, A & A Window Products thrives on constructing every project to the client’s specifications. We have built a well-rounded collaborative team to make this happen. Our project management team has extensive experience in many types of architectural glass and metal construction. They coordinate all administrative, engineering, production and installation functions for each project. Using this project management style means our clients get rapid and accurate response to all aspects of their project effortlessly. The skilled in-house engineering department utilizes the latest computer aided drafting technology to produce the high-quality drawings that our clientele requires for the dissemination of accurate construction data and details. Our production capabilities, as well as longstanding relationships with leading window and architectural metal suppliers, enable us to deliver a superior product. The management team has unlimited respect for our clients, suppliers, and employees. Working closely with one another has resulted in a growing list of loyal clients which allows us to invest in the tools and training required to install a complete line of architectural glass and metal products. With our experienced fabrication crew, A & A Window Products can build and deliver custom panels, storefront, entrance, and curtain wall in our 16,000-square foot green facility just below our headquarters resulting in shorten lead times and reduce the need to store materials on-site. We continuously look for ways to upgrade the capabilities of our fabrication facility to keep pace with the increasingly diverse demands of our customers. On our custom projects, we self-perform the installation of door hardware. The nature of this work provides us a competitive advantage by completely controlling this process – increasing quality and decreasing the lead time. A & A explores for new ways to reduce environmental impacts. With our solar photovoltaic system, we have been able to power our building with approximately 240 solar panels resting on the roof. Inside our green facility we are equipped to manufacture high-quality architectural panels with the skills of our union glass workers who engineer panels to any specifications. Through technology and conservation, such as high-performance systems, renewable materials and jobsite recycling, we continue to seek to provide a greener future.
