Working in both corporate and non-profit sectors over the past 20 years, I experienced the pressure of trying to make time for it all in a “9 to 5” day. As devoted a pet parent as I wanted to be, there were times, unfortunately, when Pete and Otis got the “short end of the stick” when early meetings, deadlines, and business travel pulled me away. I’ve always believed the sky is the limit when you dream big, believe in yourself, and work hard. We CAN have it all, but I’ve learned it can be hard to manage it all. And the last thing we want to feel is guilt about not giving our furry companions the love and attention they deserve. Or worse still, stress when we’ve left them too long or have to leave them behind. This is why I was inspired to start 9 to 5 Pets…because our pets are worth it and I believe we can all use a helping hand when work is getting the best of us or when we need some time off or time away to reset and renew. Your peace of mind and your pets’ well being will always be our top priority, and our promise to you is to love them like we love our own. She is dedicated to making her clients’ lives easier by providing them with quality in-home professional pet care services that keep their pets happy, healthy and safe; affording them peace of mind when work and life pull them away. She is devoted to loving her clients’ pets like she loves her own and also believes it is her duty and purpose to help promote animal welfare and education, to connect her community with animals in need, and to give back through volunteerism and donations to local and national non-profit organizations. Jennifer graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 1998 and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Marketing. She was an NCAA Division I Lady Volunteer Varsity Rower and member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority from 1996-1998. She currently resides in Ponte Vedra Beach with her husband Mark and their beloved cat “Otis” and serves as President of their Rough Creek Homeowners Association. After the scheduled meet & greet and completing the online information, the comfort level of leaving home and placing Tigger & Ellie in the care of 9 to 5 Pets was quite high. I was used to not seeing them when other sitters or kennels took care of them, but found myself addicted to the pictures they posted on every walk. Jennifer spent lots of time with them and played with them as if they were her own. The value was tremendous, and 9 to 5 Pets will be my go-to for all of my future needs! We’ve had 9 to 5 Pets walking our puppy for the last couple weeks and I cannot say enough good. We love the daily updates and photos, and Lola loves the extra love while we’re at work and school.
