Founded by award-winning documentary filmmaker Mary Mazzio, 50 EGGS, Inc. is a Florida-based independent film production company dedicated to creating socially impactful films that reach audiences worldwide. With a rich background that includes being an Olympic rower and former law firm partner, Mazzio brings diverse experiences to the heart of 50 Eggs' creative projects. Mazzio has directed and produced acclaimed documentaries like 'Underwater Dreams,' which explores efforts towards educational equity, as well as 'TEN9EIGHT,' 'The Apple Pushers,' 'A Hero for Daisy,' among others. Her most recent work, 'I AM JANE DOE,' narrated by Jessica Chastain, an Academy Award nominee, premiered on February 10, 2017, alongside the animated short film 'I AM LITTLE RED.' These films were recognized at a special event hosted by the U.S. Department of Education and Health and Human Services. Beyond storytelling, 50 Eggs ventures into different avenues such as commemorating milestones; it produced 'We Are BlackRock,' celebrating two decades of innovation at one of the world's largest asset management firms.
