I'll start by saying that I have a good amount of experience with home repair/construction and have also built my prior home as an owner/builder. The home we are currently buying is older than what I was used to so I decided to get two independent inspections to make sure no deficient items were missed. Jason was the second of the two inspectors, so I had a good comparison of the work done by both. The other inspector was adequate but Jason went above and beyond with the thoroughness of his inspection. Jason showed up to the property early and was already reviewing the outside of the home on my arrival. I really appreciated how he clearly identified items that should be addressed by tagging them with red stickers as reminders. The first inspector poked his head in the attic and just took a brief look around. In the Florida heat, Jason crawled the entire attic and found a few minor issues in the process. His attention to detail was second to none and his report also well documented everything. It has made for the perfect punch list of items that I need to work through upon move in to the home. Lastly, was his knowledge on a few safety items that I was not up to speed with. The first inspector wouldn't even look at the pool equipment. Jason looked through it all and noted that the pool light was not GFI protected. After some research, I learned this is a potential serious hazard that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. I would recommend Jason to anyone without any reservations. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough in his work . Great service. Jason was very professional and on time.
