Sonu is the founder of 1901 Group and corporate leader responsible for our strategic vision, innovative business model, and financial performance. Recognizing that the delivery of information is currently undergoing a dramatic transformation, Sonu started 1901 Group to close the cost-to-value gap on IT infrastructure by applying proven manufacturing principles to the next generation of IT service management. Having built and sold two IT services companies within the past 15 years, Sonu is utilizing industry practices and principles to execute 1901 Group’s corporate vision of building service operations centers or IT service factories in rural communities with strong university systems. Thanks to a childhood in Blacksburg, Virginia and a degree from Virginia Tech, Sonu’s personal passion and professional goal is creating sustainable, high-quality technology jobs in rural America. James is the leader of our customer facing and internal operations and engineering organization. James brings over 25 years of industry experience to 1901 Group and previously served as a corporate executive in both small and large companies focused on delivering complex Information Technology business solutions and managed services. Brian leads the optimization of our products and services to ensure market competitiveness and cost efficiency. Prior to this role, Brian led the development and build out of our operations capability in Blacksburg, VA. Brian brings more than 25 years of international industrial and technology business experience with significant accomplishments in general management, operations, product management, product development, and sales management. Prior to joining 1901 Group, he spent nine years with Danaher Corporation, one of the best examples of a major U.S. company successfully adopting the Toyota Production System (TPS) that institutionalizes process efficiency and waste elimination within a culture of “kaizen” (Japanese for continuous improvement). Brian has an M.B.A. from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Steve brings over 35 years of experience in consulting, providing advisory services to senior executives at the intersection of business, talent, and technology. Steve is a proven entrepreneur with extensive experience in starting and scaling small to mid-sized businesses. Steve is also a leader of our community outreach and is passionate about continued education and charitable activities around the world. Steve is a proud Terp having graduated from the University of Maryland Brendan leads our partner relations and management efforts and supports business development activities in addition to leading corporate branding. Brendan is also focused on service design, IT-as-a-service modeling, strategic public sector account management, and the development of our intellectual property. Brendan brings over 20 years of sales, marketing, and program management experience to our team that includes program management at G.E. Capital IT Solutions, IT security sales, and the successful prosecution of a U.S. business process patent as former co-founder of FedBid.com. Brendan is a proud Georgia Tech (the real Tech), Yellow Jacket alum and ACC fan. Paul leads corporate growth, business development, and capture management activities. Paul also provides leadership for our corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and operations design supporting the development of new markets and services. Prior to joining 1901 Group, Paul was Chief Operating Officer of List Innovation Solution, supporting the successful sale of the company to Salient Federal Solution and led Salient’s Strategic Market Development Group. Paul has held numerous leadership positions providing financial consulting, product management, and IT services supporting both public and private sector clients at SRA International, BearingPoint, and KPMG. Paul holds a B.S. in Finance from George Mason University and is a Certified Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional (PMP). Vice President, Business Capture and Solutions Architecture Thomas also provides leadership for our strategic partnership initiatives, corporate growth initiatives, and business capture efforts. Thomas brings over 20 years of Federal IT experience to our team including senior technical leadership positions with large System Integrators (SIs) and small start-up companies. Thomas is a graduate of Old Dominion University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
