Erin Morrison, the managing partner of Sledgehammer Consulting, LLC has over 10 years of commercial and residential construction experience. Erin has worked for licensed General Contractors since graduating from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s of Engineering in Construction Management. She has completed projects with valuations from under $300,000 up to approximately $127M. Projects completed include: healthcare, senior living, full CCRCs, country clubs, renovations, public works, shell buildings, tenant build outs, and exterior hardscapes. Her primary role has been in project management bridging the gap between the clients, architects, engineers, contractors, inspectors, municipalities and state agencies. With in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the construction process, Erin feels comfortable in a meeting with owners and investors or conducting site visits in the field with subcontractors. The following responsibilities summarize primary job functions: write contracts, manage owners, designers, internal staff and subcontractors, manage all aspects of the project budget including invoices, pay applications & cost changes, prepare monthly cost projections, ensure site safety, prepare scope change requests and change orders, coordinate mobilizations & material deliveries, analyze drawings & specifications for issues and coordination, create, generate, update and track the project schedule, review & process product submittals, and prepare requests for information.
