Prospect Riding Center is a therapeutic horseback riding center that helps individuals with special needs overcome physical, developmental or psychological challenges in their lives. Our instructors and volunteers consistently provide a warm, nurturing and safe environment to our clientele to help them grow physically, emotionally and socially. Over the past several decades, therapeutic riding has evolved both nationally and internationally. Prospect Riding Center is a member of PATH International, which is the governing body for therapeutic riding programs. PATH is the acronym for the Professional Although there are agencies and organizations that exist to help individuals with special needs, Prospect Riding Center is unique in that we offer beginner riding as well as inviting the family and friends to participate and enhance not only the independence in the life of the participant but extend to those they are attached to, creating memories that continue to nurture beyond the lesson time, an interaction that makes a real and positive impact on the client’s life. We are experienced in the nuances of running this type of riding program and are committed to providing services in a unique and more global way.
