Founded in 2008 by Scott Newnam and Waylon Cotton, H & W Heating and Air was established when the economy was in a down turn. We believed that we could build a company based on unsurpassed customer service and great communication with our clients. We believe that there should be great attention to detail when performing work on a customer home or business. Scott and Waylon have seen that this is an area that has been lacking in our industry for some time. We will always make sure the job is done with care and precision and that every step is taken to ensure the performance and longevity of your heating and cooling system. We strive to keep our customer’s needs first and to make lasting relationships, not just for 1 sale or a service call. Scott Newnam is a lifelong resident of Fort Walton Beach. Scott graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 1999. After receiving his MIS and business degree from University of West Florida, Scott entered the HVAC field and worked his way up to field supervisor. After completing various projects in the larger commercial sector, Scott then transitioned into the residential market. He worked in the capacity until 2008 when H & W Heating and Air was founded. Scott and his wife Karen and 3 children Taylor, Jessica, and Dawson Waylon Cotton is a lifelong resident of Fort Walton Beach. Waylon graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School in 1999. Waylon entered the HVAC field and worked his way up to field supervisor. Working in the larger commercial sector which including installing heating and cooling systems from 2 tons up to 30 tons, Waylon was responsible for start to finish, which included servicing and maintaining the systems after they were commissioned. He worked on various projects throughout the Southeast until 2008 when H & W Heating and Air was founded. Waylon and his wife Mary have 1 child, Emma.
